Did you actually choose the business you have?

Have you ever looked at your business and wondered how it became so complicated?

Many freelance language professionals don’t consciously design a business. We say yes to opportunities, respond to requests, take on new clients and services, and gradually build something that may look very different from what we originally imagined.

The problem isn’t that these decisions are wrong. In fact, each opportunity often helps us gain experience, confidence, and new skills. But over time, a business that has evolved organically can become difficult to explain, difficult to market, and difficult to grow sustainably.
