Why video needs to be a vital part of your ELT/ESL freelancer business

It probably hasn’t escaped your notice that video is becoming more and more important both within marketing, and in creating teaching and training materials.

But there also seem to be a lot of hurdles to overcome, both in terms of mindset (do I REALLY look and sound like that?!) and tech.

In this latest LinkedIn Live, I’ll be talking to Jo Gakonga, founder of ELT Training.com, and creator of the Video Creation for Educators group programme. We’ll be discussing how and why you can make video part of your overall strategy.

Jo Gakonga has worked in ELT for over 30 years in a range of countries and contexts. She’s a CELTA trainer, assessor and Joint Chief Assessor and is the founder of ELT-Training.com. This has a range of courses for English language teachers and a group programme (Video Creation for Educators) which gives educators the skills to take more control of their professional lives through video. She recently completed a PhD on mentoring and she loves being a digital nomad.
