If you’re a freelance language teacher, trainer or coach, you’ll often hear people saying that we shouldn’t expect too much in this business. Because after all, there’s no money in education, and perhaps especially in language learning. Many people wear this almost as a badge of honour. It’s a vocation, a noble profession.
And the money isn’t important, they say. But at least once we get past the backpacking stage, let’s be honest, money is important. Maybe not for its own sake, but absolutely for the difference that it can make to our lives and the lives of those around us. And I’ve got news for you…..
