You might be feeling a bit disappointed that you haven't got a higher score? A group programme feels like the obvious way to earn more and work less, as you can clearly earn more per hour, while even making the offer more affordable for your clients.

You might have got a relatively low score because you don't yet have much of an audience, and it's true that you do generally need more followers and subscribers to start a group programme, compared to a 1-2-1 offer, for the obvious reason that you need to find more clients at the same time.

However, if your score is under 8, most likely there are also other reasons why this business model might not be right for you (yet, at least) Maybe you don't yet have a clear niche, which is important because your groups need to have common goals. Or maybe you don't actually enjoy teaching groups that much? 

Sometimes people are finding it hard to find clients, and think that they'll do better if they can reduce their prices by splitting the 'cost' of the hour between several clients. This rarely works, as it's probably not really about price, but about your offer and marketing not hitting the spot. 

People can also assume that the only way to scale a teaching business is to start to form groups, but it's not the only way- take a look at the 1-2-1 hybrid model.

There are a few things you still need to get in place, but this business model has very good potential for you once you've done that. Group programmes can be a fantastic way of reducing your working hours and increasing your revenue, and, done right, the results can be just as good, or maybe even better than 1-2-1. 

It's particularly good if you really enjoy the dynamics of working with a group, and getting them bouncing ideas off each other. 

That said, don't forget that 1-2-1 and group programme doesn't necessarily have to be an either/or. Maybe the best fit for your clients would be a combination of both? For example, you could offer one 1-2-1 session a month to work on individual issues, and the other sessions could be with the group.

You may need to do some work on niche, as it's important that your clients have similar goals to to others in their group, and on making sure that your offer fits those needs well. 

You may also need to work on growing your audience, to make sure you have enough potential leads coming in to fill the extra places.

It sounds as if this could be a great business model for you. You almost certainly already have a clear niche, and a big enough and warm enough audience to start to group people together. 

Done right, this model can give your clients a better experience, with the opportunity to learn from their peers, and get more practice in, while reducing your workload and increasing your revenue. 

It's particularly good if you really enjoy the dynamics of working with a group, and getting them bouncing ideas off each other. 
 
That said, don't forget that 1-2-1 and group programme doesn't necessarily have to be an either/or. Maybe the best fit for your clients would be a combination of both? For example, you could offer one 1-2-1 session a month to work on individual issues, and the other sessions could be with the group. 

You could also add in peer support or accountability (a buddy system) or asynchronous elements. There are so many options!
